1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar

2/3 cup Crunchy Peanut Butter

1/2 cup Crisco® Shortening

2 eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 1/2 cups sifted all-purpose flour

1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 cup milk
-
1/3 cup Crunchy Peanut Butter

2 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened

Preheat oven to 325 ?F.

Cream brown sugar, the 2/3 cup Crunchy and the
Crisco® Shortening.

Add eggs and vanilla; beat well.

Stir together flour, baking powder and salt.

Add to creamed mixture alternately with milk,
beating till well mixed.

Spread in a greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.

Bake in 350?F oven about 30 minutes or till
done (center will be slightly soft).

Cool.

For frosting, cream together the 2/3 cup and
the butter or margarine.
