  • 1 1/3 cups firmly packed light brown sugar
  • 2/3 cup Reduced Fat Jif Crunchy Peanut Spread
  • 1/2 cup Crisco® Shortening
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Preheat oven to 350?F.
  • Grease 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
  • Combine brown sugar, Jif and Crisco® Shortening in large bowl. Beat at medium speed of electric mixer until just blended.
  • Add eggs, milk and vanilla. Mix just until blended.
  • Combine flour, baking powder and salt. Add all at once to creamed mixture. Mix at low speed just until blended. (Do not over mix.)
  • Spread in greased pan.
  • Bake at 350?F for 25 to 28 minutes or until set and lightly browned.
